The primary responsibility of the Grader Operator is to efficiently and safely operate the grader machine to construct, grade, and maintain plantation roads, ensuring smooth and accessible transport routes within the plantation.

The chainsaw operator draws on knowledge of tree characteristics, environmental conditions and cutting techniques to control the direction of fall and safely fell trees using a chainsaw in forestry thinning and clear-fell operations.
