Form Ghana Limited, a leading forest plantation company established in 2007, manages 20,000 hectares, including over 12,000 hectares of teak and indigenous tree plantations, along with nature conservation areas. We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles and machines to support our ongoing operations.

Job Responsibilities
- To perform his/her duty at the highest level of safety and diligence.
- Analyse, diagnose, and repair all reported mechanical issues on vehicles, machines and equipment.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional vehicle/machine parts and fix issues
- Ensure all mechanical breakdowns are resolved on time both at the infield and the workshop
- Collaborate with harvesting Foresters and Machine operators to effectively manage all harvesting machines
- Follow safety rules and guidelines
- Records all reports and maintenance on job cards
- Servicing vehicles, machines and equipment
- Follow laid down weekly maintenance schedules for all vehicles, machines and equipment
- Maintain stock of all workshop tools
- Grease and oil all vehicles, machines and equipment that visit the workshop
- Ensure workshop and tools are always clean
- Shall work at Akumadan divisions of the company
- Perform any other duties that will be assigned, not exceeding competence and capacities.
Eligibility:
- Minimum of diploma certificate from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship or in a related discipline
- At least 5 years of working experience in mechanical fitting and related fields.
- Must have a Valid driver`s license class C

- Ability to communicate vehicle issues in layman’s terms
- Must be psychologically and medically fit
- Ability to assemble and fit components with precision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills to overcome mechanical challenges.
