Form Ghana Limited, a leader in sustainable forestry and resource management offers an opportunity for six dynamic individuals to learn about and assist in managing its operations.

Job Title: Management Trainee

Job Summary: An entry-level position responsible for gaining hands-on knowledge and experience in forest management, conservation, and sustainable resource utilisation, leading to possible employment in the company under the guidance of experienced management personnel.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract
Training Period: Six months
Job Location: Berekum-Bono Region, Akumadan-Ashanti Region

Job Responsibilities

1. Receive training and perform duties in several departments, including plantations, tree nursery and harvesting.
2. Assist Plantation/Technical Supervisors in their duties and related activities.
3. Identify trends/problems and recommend possible proactive solutions.
4. Monitor performance progress with management and key trainers.
5. Work with other managers to plan and direct the work of the company.
6. Assist managers in evaluating company productivity.

Eligibility

• Relevant tertiary qualification in forestry management, natural resources or a related field.
• Working experience in a plantation development and maintenance company/organisation.
• Completed National Service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driving license, ID/Passport, and Health Insurance.

Key competencies:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of GIS mapping and forestry software is a plus.
• Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable forestry practices.
• Be proactive and demonstrate creative and innovative thinking.
• Ability to work constructively in a team.
