Form Ghana Limited, a leader in sustainable forestry and resource management seeks the expertise of a Bell Logger Operator to join its harvesting team.

Job Title: Bell Logger Operator
Job Grade: B2
Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Bell Logger Operator is to efficiently and safely sort, stack, load and unload processed logs using the bell logger.

Job Location: Berekum, Bono Region and Akumadan, Ashanti Region

Job Responsibilities

• Operate the bell logger at the highest level of safety and diligence.
• Perform daily routine maintenance checks.
• Use the machine proficiently while stacking logs at the landing site.
• Complete daily production control and mechanical downtime sheets and submit them to the Harvesting Supervisor.
• Group and present timber products according to product specifications.
• Clean landing/depot and, where possible, stay off the forest roads.
• Avoid working in designated special management zones and drainage systems.
• Assist with the extraction of trees close to the landing sites.

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license E.
• Must have a valid NHIS card.
• Must have an SSNIT number.
• Must have a minimum of a Junior High School (JHS) certificate.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with little supervision.
• Physical and mental fitness for the job.
• Good eyesight and depth perception.
• A dependable team player with a positive attitude and good communication and interpersonal skills.
