Form Ghana Limited, a sustainable forestry and resource management leader, is seeking a Silviculture Supervisor to join our team.

Job Location: Berekum, Bono Region

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct oversight and management of silviculture teams, including but not limited to land preparation, planting, beating up, weeding, chainsaw, pruning, and singling teams.
• Accurate completion of daily production sheets.
• Quality and production control checks.
• Interpreting and setting daily tasks.
• Fire Management.
• Provide leadership and direction to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and production standards.
• Assist supervisors from other sections within the company.

ELIGIBILITY

• Diploma or degree in forest management, natural resources or related field.
• Must have a National Service Certificate, National Health Insurance, valid driving license and valid ID/Passport.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the forestry industry.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of silviculture, reforestation, and forest management.
• Regulatory compliance – familiar with forest stewardship principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal
• Excellent time management skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Accurate data collection and management skills, as well as good report-writing skills.
• Creative and innovative thinker and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
